In the second half of 2010, the ASX is planning to upgrade its ITS service, with new features supporting VolumeMatch, Centre Point orders, Centre Point crossings, iceberg and undisclosed orders.
To cater to the upgrade, IRESS has developed server upgrades and new front end functionality for clients. This includes mandatory upgrades for the IRESS Phoenix server and Click Servlet/Click TI. Release timelines for upgrades are dependent on the ASX.
IRESS' immediate objective is to provide support for Centre Point orders, Centre Point crossings, iceberg and undisclosed orders, and market data for all new trade types (including VolumeMatch trades). Functionality for creating and managing VolumeMatch orders is scheduled for future development once ITS is in production.

Smart Order Routing
The IOS Smart Order Router (BMR) offers an additional strategy to facilitate gaining best price execution into the market. In addition to this, the BMR provides strategies like Auto Crosser and Liquidity Pool, and supports execution to multiple venues (such as CHI-X).
