IRESS has today announced it is enhancing its training offer to include CPD point accreditation, as well as a new program of structured learning pathways.

The changes to XPLAN education and training will take effect immediately and include a program of structured learning pathways for specific roles (such as administrators, advisers, risk-only advisers and practice managers) within an advice business. These ensure the user is best equipped with the knowledge and understanding they need and are getting the most out of XPLAN.

CPD point accreditation will also now be available for many XPLAN training modules. These recognise the importance of continuing education as well as competency when it comes to optimising the use of adviser technology.

“XPLAN, like most software, is most powerful when used to its full potential,” said Tizzy Vigilante, Managing Director Wealth Management. “We are committed to providing the best training, both in terms of technical content and the quality of delivery, and have invested heavily in our learning capabilities to ensure our clients and users get the most from their XPLAN solution.”

IRESS offers a range of more than 100 individual training modules, delivered in a face to face classroom format, via WebEx virtual classrooms and a range of eLearning units, all of which are free of charge to XPLAN licence holders. Over 3,000 users attend face to face XPLAN training sessions every year, with many more accessing webinars and eLearning tutorials.
