Despite worthy progress towards digital transformation in the superannuation industry, there is still some way to go. The digital baseline is constantly shifting, and with the latest superannuation shake up, member engagement is becoming more important than ever. 


There is a need for new tools, easier accessibility, automated processing, and open integration with other specialist providers. 


Members want to monitor what their super is earning and what they are spending, they want to close off the paper trail and have a fully digital, responsive experience. 


An online member portal that is easy to navigate, highly responsive and simple to use is crucial. Many funds may have to escalate this in their plans and apply a sense of urgency around this evolving trend.
