In order to ensure its products and services continue to meet the demands of advisers in an ever evolving market, IRESS regularly engages with its clients to capture product and service enhancement suggestions from the ‘front line’. The Whole of Life user experience has been completely refreshed and aligned with the other protection products that advisers are already familiar with. The screens have been optimised to be device responsive meaning that users will be able interact with the quote portal on all devices across desktop, tablet, Apple and Android. These latest changes from IRESS form part of its ongoing development program and respond directly to evolving user needs.
Enhancements include the option to select between Guaranteed Acceptance/Over 50s, Whole of Life, or both. Additionally, funeral planning and long-term care have been added to the policy options and users are now able to choose whether or not to index premiums.
The results screen now includes an additional column to enable users to review the features at a glance and amend the basis of the quote if necessary.
Like all other protection products on The Exchange, partially underwritten quotes can now be obtained for Whole of Life.
Andrew Simon, Executive General Manager, Product, IRESS, commented: “The protection market is developing in really exciting and innovative ways. Through The Exchange, we are able to support innovation across all protection product lines, including Whole of Life. We continue to develop our services to make it much easier for advisers to quote, apply and, ultimately, get people the most appropriate and affordable protection they need in the most efficient way possible. We’re proud to be part of this innovative protection movement and are keen to work with providers who are as committed as we are to deliver new and improved protection solutions.”
