We are thrilled to welcome Leeds Building Society to the growing community of lenders IRESS works with.

As the fifth largest building society in the UK, Leeds Building Society continues to focus on innovation and is investing in technology to offer mortgage brokers and their customers a better user experience and increase efficiency.

In addition to offering brokers a better user experience, IRESS Mortgage Sales & Originations (MSO) will ensure the Society is well-placed to respond swiftly to future technology changes as it continues to improve its service and online functionality.

It will deliver increased efficiency and an enhanced customer experience, through automating and streamlining internal processes, removing the need for re-keying data. Brokers will be able to track cases more easily and only products their clients are eligible for will be displayed, offering greater certainty.

A further benefit will be increased agility, enabling the Society to respond to market changes and carry on bringing innovative product offerings to market with enhanced customer and broker engagement models.

Martese Carton, Leeds Building Society’s Head of Intermediary Distribution, said greater automation of routine mortgage applications would free up underwriting and intermediary colleagues to deal with more complex cases as the Society continues to focus on helping more borrowers who are not well-served by the wider market.
