At IRESS we’re lucky to have a team of passionate and enthusiastic people who aren’t just driven by doing the best for our clients, but want to make a difference in their local communities too.

Recently our people generously cleaned out their cupboards and donated lightly worn clothing and accessories to sell at our very first Exchange Sale.

Through the proceeds of the sale and additional clothing donations we were able to support two Non Profit Organsiations that do important and sustainable work in their communities, being Seeds of Africa and Pebbles Project respectively.

Seeds of Africa

The donated clothing went to the Jabula Mama's sewing ladies in Drummond informal settlement in Lanseria. Aside from using the much needed clothing for themselves and their families, Jabula Mama's have started a grass roots sewing service and will resell the clothing to generate additional income.

Pebbles Project

Enough funds were raised through the proceeds from the Exchange to sponsor two children through Pebbles Sponsor a Child initiative. Contributions towards this initiative is allocated for Early Childhood Development (ECD) educational outings, health and dental services, special needs learning support and key educational resources and equipment.

In addition, our IRESS Foundation which encourages engagement in our local communities globally, has matched our fund raising efforts enabling us to support an additional two children. We are so excited to be supporting four children through Pebbles.

Demonstrating that giving a little goes such a long way.
