Terms and conditions

1 - This prize draw is only open to UK residents who are delegates attending the Professional Adviser 360 Digital conference and who participate in a virtual chat/video conference with a member of the Iress team. Individuals who do not qualify include:

a - employees of Iress or its holding or subsidiary companies;

b - employees of agents or suppliers of Iress or its holding or subsidiary companies who are professionally connected with the prize draw or its administration; or

c - members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

2 - The prize draw is being run by Iress FS Limited (“Iress”) whose registered address is 1 Kingmaker Court, Warwick Technology Park, Gallows Hill, Warwick CV34 6DY.

3 - Iress reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. Iress may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and the prize may be withheld until Iress is satisfied with the verification. If Iress requests any verification details from you, such details must be provided by you within a reasonable time frame.

4 - By registering to enter this prize draw, you accept these terms and conditions. No purchase is necessary.

5 - There will be one winner, who will win an Apple Watch Series 6.

6 - If you win the prize, you agree and confirm that any expenses incurred by you in the general use and/or enjoyment of the prize are your sole responsibility. The use of the prize may be subject to additional terms and conditions which shall not be binding on Iress in any manner whatsoever.

7 - You are only entitled to participate once in the prize draw.

8 - The prize draw will run from 9:00 am on 7th October until 16:00 pm on 9th October 2020.

9 - If you win the prize, you will be notified before 16th October 2020 by email to the email address provided in your entry. You must provide to Iress within 21 days from the date of the email the address for your place of work to which the prize can be delivered. In the event that you fail to respond to Iress within such timeframe, the winner’s claim will become invalid.

10 - Iress will send the name and county of the winner to anyone who writes within one month after the closing date requesting details of the winner and who encloses a self-addressed envelope to the address set out in paragraph 2.

11 - The determination and decision of Iress on all matters shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Iress reserves the right in its reasonable discretion (a) to disqualify any entrant whose conduct is contrary to the spirit or rule or the intention of the promotion or to these terms and conditions and to declare as void any or all of their entries based on such conduct; (b) to declare as void any entries (including but not limited to where there are error(s) on an application); (c) to waive any rules on reasonable notice; and/or (d) to cancel the promotion or any part of it at any stage in the event of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Iress.

12 - The prize is non-transferable, may not be re-sold and is subject to availability and no cash alternative will be available. Iress reserves the right in its reasonable discretion to substitute the prize or any part thereof for a prize or item of similar value.

13 - By entering the prize draw you agree that any personal information provided by you with the prize draw entry may be held and used only by Iress or its agents to administer the prize draw.

14 - You agree that should you win a prize, that you may be required to participate in any public relations (e.g. press release, testimonial) arranged by Iress.

15 - Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence, or in respect of fraud, and so far as is permitted by law, Iress and its group and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from: a) any postponement or cancellation of the prize draw, b) any changes to, supply of (including, without limitation, prizes which do not reach the intended recipient), or use of the prize whether by the entrant or anyone else, and c) any act or default of any third party supplier, which are beyond Iress’ reasonable control.

16 - This prize draw, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this prize draw.
