Iress Limited (ABN 47 060 313 359) (“Iress”) will conduct a competition at the FPA Professionals Congress in Sydney, New South Wales on 23 November 2023 to win an Amantha Imber book (“the Competition”) according to these terms and conditions (“Terms”). By submitting an entry into the Competition, all entrants agree to these Terms.
Competition Period
The Competition is only available to entrants attending the FPA Conference on 23 November 2022. All submissions must be submitted by 5pm AEDT 23 November 2022.
Entry Criteria
Entry to the Competition is free and open to all participants over the age of 18 years (“Eligible Entrants”). All entries must comply with these Terms to be valid.
To enter this Competition:
a. Eligible Entrants must describe in 25 words or less what they would do with more time; and
submit the form acknowledging that they have read Iress’ Privacy Policy and that they agree to receive direct marketing and other updates from Iress.
A limit of one entry applies per person. If an Eligible Entrant makes more than one submission, Iress will review the first submission.
By entering the Competition, Eligible Entrants warrant that their submission is not in breach of any third party intellectual property rights, and agree to indemnify Iress with respect to any IP claims brought by a third party against Iress alleging that the Eligible Entrant’s submission infringes any copyright, design or trade mark intellectual property rights. Eligible Entrants grant Iress a non-exclusive licence to use the content of their entry in any way Iress wishes without payment of royalties or commission to the Eligible Entrant.
Iress reserves its right to disqualify any submission that does not comply with these Terms or otherwise engaged in any unlawful or improper conduct in connection with this Competition.
Competition Judging Criteria
20 winners will be selected by a judge appointed by Iress. Winning entries will be chosen based on how descriptive and creative they are. The Eligible Entrants who submit the winning entry (“the Winner”) will receive a copy of Time Wise by Amantha Imber.
This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the Winner. Each entry will be judged individually on its merits.
Iress reserves the right to exercise its discretion to exclude or disqualify any Eligible Entrant’s submission that is not in accordance with these Terms.
Prize (Description & Conditions)
The Winners will be notified by email following evaluation of the entries.
Each Winner must respond to Iress’ email or otherwise contact Iress by 11:59pm AEDT 31 January 2023 to redeem their Prize. In the event a Winner does not claim their prize by 1 February 2023, that Winner forfeits their prize.
Privacy
Eligible Entrants’ personal information will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this Competition and to promote Iress’ and its affiliates’ products and services, as well as the products and services of third parties that Iress thinks may be of interest to Eligible Entrants. In addition to use for promotional and marketing purposes, Iress’ may disclose and otherwise use personal information for purposes including disclosure to Iress’ third party service providers, where required by law or a regulatory authority, and for any other purpose that is reasonably necessary for, or directly related to, Iress’ functions or activities.

This URL may be subject to change but the Iress Privacy Policy will always be found on the Legal section of the Iress website.
Exclusion of liability
To the extent that it is permitted to do so under law, Iress excludes all liability arising in tort, contract or otherwise for any injury, loss or damage whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition. Notwithstanding the foregoing, these Terms do not affect and are not intended to affect any consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law and other similar legislation which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.
These Terms are governed by the laws of NSW, Australia and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdictions of the courts of NSW, Australia.
