The Protection industry’s brightest minds will gather in London this June for Iress’ Protection forum, which aims to challenge convention and redefine what’s next for the sector.

Hosted by Iress at the AWS XP Centre in London on 25 June 2025, Beyond Protection seeks to foster collaboration, spark innovation and reimagine a more connected, client-focused future. The event is Iress’ sixth Protection forum and part of its popular year-round series of client-collaboration events.

Delegates will gain exclusive insights from industry trailblazers including:

  • Vicky Churcher of the Income Protection Task Force (IPTF) talking about market shifts and consumer needs.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) exploring the transformative potential of AI in Protection
  • Helen Croft, Head of Life & Health Underwriting at SCOR on the future of underwriting and how emerging technologies are reshaping risk assessment.

The program includes an open discussion on the evolution of underwriting, with opportunities for audience engagement and live collaboration. The event will conclude with dinner and drinks, providing further opportunities for networking and ideas exchange.

Iress’ Managing Director - Sourcing, Jennifer Rafferty, said:

“This forum isn’t just about showcasing what we’ve done, it’s about working side by side with the industry to shape what comes next. Beyond Protection reflects our commitment to co-designing solutions with our clients that deliver meaningful outcomes for advisers and consumers. Some of our most impactful developments, like our integration with CIExpert, evolved from discussions at our forums and we’re excited to see what emerges from this one.
