You will be part of a structured development program focusing on technical and professional training where you’ll learn our business inside-out and use your specialist skills to enable you to make a difference and achieve your career goals.
At Iress you will be challenged and supported by a team of inspirational people working in our global teams– all working together to drive the future of FinTech.
You may be in your final year of school, college or university and completed a qualification in a related field and your curious mind will see you continue exploring how things work and experimenting with a wide array of technologies and concepts.
You have a passion for quality and innovation, and you’re excited about learning new technologies and servicing our clients. We also look for the following qualities in our graduates and apprentices:
Our Australian Graduate program is a 1-year program that commences in February of every year. Recruiting for graduates to join teams across the business is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to all areas of Iress, with a holistic approach to developing your knowledge and skills as well as your future career development.
You will receive technical and work readiness training and engage directly with our inspiring people leaders. You will also have access to mentorship opportunities as well as peer-to-peer development programs and workshops through a mixture of virtual and face-to-face interactions.
As well as being part of the comprehensive Graduate Program with your Graduate cohort, you will also reap the benefits of immediately being part of a working team, contributing to existing projects with carefully guided autonomy. Supported, but given the freedom to hit the ground running where you feel comfortable to do so, this Graduate program is designed to be the perfect launching pad for your career in fintech.
The South African Graduate program is a 12-month program that provides unemployed graduates who have completed their qualifications the opportunity to gain workplace experience and build their skills and knowledge in a corporate environment.
The program starts in January each year and ends in December. Graduates get exposure to work-readiness training, technical courses, mentorship, and a graduate community to assist them in developing their careers. Areas of focus for our program include Engineering and Product Support Analysts. The program is designed to challenge and grow our graduates in their careers.
The Apprenticeship Scheme is an important element of our talent attraction program in that it ensures we get the knowledge, skills, and behaviours we're looking for while growing a talented and engaged workforce. The opportunity to up skill via an Apprenticeship is also available to internal employees.
Apprenticeships are for people aged 16 and over and combine on-the-job training with additional studies to gain skills and knowledge in a job role. To ensure our Apprentices have a great experience, they get support and guidance from their people leader, an internal apprenticeship community as well as a Skills Coach from the Apprenticeship training provider.
The programs we offer typically last 18 months with some lasting up to 5 years depending on the area of expertise the apprentice is studying. Areas of focus include Engineering, Information Security, Workplace Technicians, and Market Data. There is no fixed start date and our apprentices join throughout the year.
