IRESS, the leading supplier of technology for wealth management, financial markets and the mortgage industry today announces that it has entered into an agreement with Close Brothers Asset Management (CBAM) to provide its unified wealth technology platform to support the firm in achieving its omni-channel ambitions.

Having recently undertaken a review of its strategy with a view to simplifying its IT architecture and associated business processes, CBAM entered into a comprehensive feasibility study, concluding IRESS to be an ideal strategic partner to achieve its goals.

The collaborative delivery will see IRESS leverage its product suite, for a streamlined asset management and client engagement solution with a focus on an enhanced digital experience for clients and intermediaries.

Commenting on the agreement, Martin Andrew, CBAM CEO, said: “IRESS’ acquisition of Pulse Software Systems was an opportunity for us to consider our requirements and the opportunities presented by a scaled provider taking ownership of a trusted existing system. We have been tremendously impressed by the team’s vision and appreciation of what we wish to achieve, and the ability to make these plans a reality together.

“IRESS’ approach and its ability to provide an integrated and flexible technology solution for the business have played a key part in reaching this decision.”

Simon New, IRESS Group Executive – Strategy, added: “IRESS’ partnership with CBAM has grown from solid foundations and there is strong alignment of vision and aspiration across both businesses.

“As the wealth management landscape continues to evolve, providing a seamless client journey across online and traditional channels becomes ever more vital. CBAM recognises this and this will see us deliver a streamlined, integrated technology solution that will provide CBAM with a holistic client view and multi-channel client and intermediary engagement capability.”
