We’ve teamed up with Codility to help us test the coding skills of software engineers who want to build better software for the world.

The global challenge launches on 21 February and is open via the Codility platform. Challengers will be able to choose from a list of programming languages to complete a coding task and their individual results will be assessed and scored. The top performers will be revealed via a global leaderboard.

Andrew Todd, our CTO, said: “We know that software engineers are inquisitive, competitive and like a challenge. Our global coding challenge is an ideal way for them to test their skills. We can't wait to see the results.”

Hayley Scott, who heads-up our talent acquisition team, added: “Codility provides a global software platform that we use to assess the technical skills of potential candidates during recruitment, but this challenge is open to anyone.

"We are really keen to increase our networks within the tech industry and help grow our software engineering community.”

Anyone interested in the challenge must give it a go within a two week time frame beginning 21 February.
